Opening hours: Tues - Sat 12-5pm
Private view: Thursday 11 August 6-9pm

The first Tri-pod group exhibition showcases the work of nine selected visual artists and photographers working on personal photographic and lens-based projects.

Participating artists are: Natasha Caruana, Zoe Childerley, Ellie Davies, Karen Grainger, Dean Hollowood, Judith Lyons, Sacha Lehrfreund, Wendy Pye and Melanie Stidolph.

The works in the show cut across different photographic genres and subject matter. However, they are all linked by a desire to explore alternative ways of presenting artistic works in a commercial gallery setting. In the spirit of collaboration and experimentation, each artist has been invited to give equal consideration to the public presentation of their work as well as the content.

Nine-Point Perspective: Ways of Seeing has been conceived of and co-curated by deputy and online editor of Hotshoe magazine Miranda Gavin with Tripod co-founder, Wendy Pye, and picture editor, Sacha Lehrfreund, who are both participating artists.

These projects are a culmination of work developed as part of Tri-pod’s first research and development group held at Hotshoe Gallery from 2010-11. To see work by the group and read more about Tri-pod, visit www.tri-pod.co.uk
